About The Trip

This lively and varied trip is our favorite introduction to the kingdom. We combine discovery of the best of Thailand from Bangkok to Chiang Mai with a number of adventures which include a lovely Lampang city tour by  horse drawn carriage, elephant riding, ox carting and rafting at the spectacular Mae Taeng valley in Chiang Mai. We also visit hill tribe people  and  hike on Doi Inthanon, the highest mountain of Thailand

After hiking, we descend to the lush and unspoiled valley of the Mae Chaem River . The trip offers an unusual opportunity to interact with people in a traditional Thai village.  There is also time for individual discovery of Chiang Mai before return to Bangkok by train.
