Just 2.30 hrs. drive north from Bangkok , Khao Yai National Park is one of the best conservation management areas in the world and best places for exploring the tropical forest and wildlife.  You can hike through the dense evergreen forest, watch the wildlife during trekking and joining night safari, encounter beautiful waterfalls as well as watching millions of flying foxes.  It's a real memorable time!  

Itinerary:

Day 1: Bangkok - Khao Yai - Flying Fox Watching - Night Safari (L,D)

08.00-09.00 Pick up guests from Bangkok hotels and travel by an aircond. van to Khao Yai. On arrival check into Khao Yai Garden Lodge and have lunch.

After lunch about 14.00 hrs travel by van to a volcanic cave, observe the beautiful stalactites & stalagmites inside the cave. After that watch a spectacular event - many millions of Wrinkled-Lipped bats leave their cave. They flutter into Khao Yai National Park looking for a night meal. And at the same time Besra, Shikra and Peregrine Falcon try to catch bats as food. This is an experience not to be missed!

19.30 Join our night safari tour.  The tour commences through mountain forests and grassland.  From the van, the nightly animal world is illuminated by special halogen light. We will see a nocturnal animal world such as deer, felines, porcupines, lorises, and with a little of luck we may see wild elephants at the salt licks. After that return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Khao Yai - Trekking - Bangkok (B,L)

Am After breakfast, we will explore Khao Yai with qualified guild along the old elephant trail until reaching the wildlife watching tower and watch for wildlife. Habitats of Khao Yai National Park includes various species of monkey, deer, porcupines, and huge hornbills, tiger, clouded leopard, and different kinds of wild cats and bears. The biggest wild elephants (about 200 elephants) have been living here. Depending on seasons you may see flowering trees and wild orchids, bizarre climbing plants, and different beautiful butterflies fluttering through the fragrant jungle. There are a lot of rare palm trees and ferns. You will have a chance to swim at Heaw Suwat Waterfall or Leonardo de Caprio Waterfall. It's an impressive and unforgettable beautiful jungle! 

16.00 Return to the lodge to collect all suitcases and return to Bangkok . Arrival in Bangkok about 19.00 hrs.  End of service.
