Trekking Area:

This trekking trip will be operated in areas of Chiang Dao and Prao, in the upper North and Northeast of Chiang Mai. It's the less visited area best suiting for visitors interesting to touch the real life of Hilltribes people .

The first day, we will travel by a pick-up truck to Chiang Dao & Prao with short visits to some interesting places, such as the Young Elephant Training Center for watching elephant show; Chiang Dao Market, where we will buy some food to cook while trekking in remote hilltribe villages.  We will be traveling by a pick-up truck until reaching Lahu Villag e. After that we will make an appointment with our driver to pick us up on the third day, and let him drives back home. On this trip we will visit total 5 hilltribe groups - Lahu, Karen, Lisu, Akha, and Palong. It's a real great experience!

We will start trekking from Lahu Village on the first day, and visit some hilltribes on the way and stay overnight in Karen village on the first day and Palong village on the second day. And on the third day, after finishing the trek, we will meet our driver on the main road, and the driver will drive us to a bamboo rafting camp and let us have some fun on a bamboo rafting trip after 2-3 days trekking. We will end the trip in the town of Chiang Mai with happiness.

Itinerary :

Day1 Chiang Mai - Chiang Dao - Prao - Lahu Villag e - Karen Village (L,D)

Day2 Karen Village - two Palong Villages (B,L,D)
(trek about 3 hours, and elephant trek 2 hours)

Day 3 Palong Village - C hiang Mai (B,L)
(trek about 1.30 hours)

Route : Pang Eak - Sob Gai (moderate to hard trek)

Trekking Area:

This trekking trip will be operated in areas of Pang Eak and Sob Gai, in the upper North of Chiang Mai. It's the less visited trekking area where we will be pleased to offer to those tourists interesting to touch the real life of Hilltribes in Thailand .

The first day, we will travel by a pick-up truck to Mae Malai Market, where we will buy some food for lunch, and to cook while trekking in remote hilltribe villages. Coninue traveling until reaching Mae Talai Stream. Lunch and take leisure at a small, but nice waterfall, where we will start trekking. We will make an appointment with our driver to pick us up on the third day, and let him drives back home. On this trip we will have a good chance to visit Red Lahu, Shan, Karen, and Black Lahu. It's a real nice experience!

Itinerary :

Day1 Chiang Mai - Pang Eak (L,D)

09.30 Pick up at hotel in Chiang Mai or Chiang Mai Airport . Travel by a pick-up truck to a lively Mae Malai Market to buy some food for lunch and for cooking while staying in villages. Then continue traveling to Mae Talai Waterfall, lunch and take leisure.

Pm After lunch, we will start trekking (2-3 hours trek) to Red Lahu (Muser) village. On the way see beautiful view of nature and tea plantation. Stop to observe people workin the coffee field - collect & dry their coffee seed. Sometimes you may see peoplecollect tea tree in stead of collecting coffee as they grow both tea and coffee plantation. Trek further (2-3 hours) to Ban Pang Eak, Thai Yai or Shan village.
Dinner and homestay at Ban Pang Eak.

Day2 Ban Pang Eak - Karen Village - Black Lahu Village (B,L,D)

09.00 After breakfast, travel by pick-up truck about 40-45 minutes to the place where we will start trekking. Today we will trek about 5-6 hours into the jungle, passing Karen village and observe their way of living until reaching Black Lahu village. Picnic lunch in the jungle.
Dinner and overnight in the Black Lahu village.

Day3 Black Lahu Village - Sob Gai - Chiang Mai (B,L)

09.00 After breakfast, we will trek into the jungle about 3 hours to the place where our pick-up truck driver waiting. After that travel to the Elephant Camp, and enjoy elephant riding for 1 hour. Then return to the town of Chiang Mai , drop off at your hotel. End of service.
