About Khao Sok:

Khao Sok National Park covers an area of about 645 square kilometers. It is one of Thailand ' s best preserved habitats for tropical vegetation and wildlife, with evergreen virgin jungle, waterfalls, sparkling clear rivers and streams, limestone cliffs, and many kinds of protected wildlife including monkeys and wild guar. An area of about 20 square kilometers is occupied by a lake, a beautiful large reservoir which studded with jagged limestone cliffs.

There are nature walks and climbs to be taken in the national park. Destinations include a natural swimming pool flanked by waterfalls on both ends, an eleven-tiered waterfall where wild animals are sometimes seen, and a natural rock arch over a stream.

Itinerary :

Day1 Car to Khao Sok - Canoeing (L,D)

Pick up Surat Railway Station or Surat Airport by air conditioned car/van to Khao Sok National Park , check intoTree Top River Hut Resort. After lunch, enjoy canoeing on Klong Sok River , observe beautiful view on both sides of the river. Plenty of chance to swim in the cool clear waters. Dinner at the resort.

O/N at Tree Top River Hut Resort or the same grade resort

Day2 Khao Soke - Elephant Riding - Chio Larn Lak e - Boat Trip (B,L,D)

After breakfast, travel by van to the elephant camp and take an elephant riding (about 3 hours in circle) into the jungle, through a rainforest crisscrossed with waterfalls and steams and teeming with thick bamboo, thorny rattan, pandanus and other tropical flora.

Take leisure and swim at the waterfall.

After that leave by car/van to Chio Larn Lake . Lunch at the food shop in the lake view restaurant.  Boat through a fairyland of majestic limestone cliffs and caves to Chio Larn Jungle Raft.
Swimming or leisure. In the evening the hornbills, other large birds, and monkeys emerge to feed. Dinner on the raft-house.

Day 3 Khao Sok National Park - Nature Walk - Surat Thani (B,L)

Following breakfast, the morning is jungle trekking into the forest, learn about flora & fauna, and take a bamboo rafting to explore the Coral Cave . Lunch.

After lunch, travel from the Jungle Raft with stop to observe beautiful cliffs by boat and then by car / van to Surat Thani. Arrive at Surat Thani Airport / Railway Station at about 16.30 hrs. and resort / hotel at about 17.30 hrs.
